Barcelona is a fascinating city and there are many things to see. Here is a list of some of Barcelona's most popular sights.
The district of San Lorenzo is dominated by two elements, both full of history and charm: the church, bare, simple, the oldest of Florence, consecrated in 393 and rebuilt twice in successive periods, and the market, lively and always crowded, great for buying fresh food or for a clothes shopping tour.
Around the beautiful church of San Lorenzo, with famous Medici Chapels on its back, there is the famous market of San Lorenzo, the most important and best known of the city: it is open every day (until a few years ago closed on Sunday and Monday).
The San Lorenzo market is composed of two main areas, both beloved by foreigners and Florentines: the Central Market Hall is an imposing building, built when Florence was capital. Majestic, made of iron, glass and cast iron, hosts the city's most famous market town: here they sell fresh food for generations. A must for fans of the genre is a lunch from the historic Nerbone: the real Tuscan meat - old style!
The external market, which extends into the surrounding streets, has changed dramatically over the past few years, losing some of its most authentic shops. However, you can still find many of the local banks that sell leather goods products: bags, belts, shoes, notebooks, so traditionally Florentine.
A trip to the market of San Lorenzo Florence is always worth whatever you're looking for, especially if you are not looking for anything!
Every day – around 9:00 to 19:00
