Legoland
let the kids enjoy a day playing with lego. When you arrive at “Legoworld” they will be amazed by the giant giraffe in front of the entrance, but they will be even more amazed when they go inside. Legoland is divided in different areas like jungle world, princess palace, mini land and many more. It is also possible to celebrate a birthday at legoland.
Volkspark Potsdam
In the Volkspark you can spend your time actively. Besides the many playgrounds and sports facilities, which are always accessible, the park also offers courses and activities to learn new sports, like golf, beach volleyball, climbing, etc.
During the summer holidays there are special themed activities for children with different focuses, e.g. exercises, fun, games.
From April to October is it also possible to use the Volkspark as a classroom. Kids can sign up online and learn all about the nature.
The Berlin Zoo is the oldest in Germany and has the largest number of animal species held in one zoo worldwide: 14,000 animals and 1,500 species.
The zoo and the aquarium are located on the same premises. The aquarium, opened in 1913, is famous for its historical past, for its aquariums and terrariums, and the diversity of fish and invertebrates it holds.
Sealife AquaDom
Close to Museum Island is the largest local aquarium in the world. A gigantic transparent cylinder, 25 meters high, with an 11 meter diameter, and capacity for 900,000 liters of seawater, holds 2500 fish belonging to 56 different species.
Recreation areas in natural parks
The Freizeitpark Lübars in Reinickendorf is a large park with plenty of grass and play areas - ideal to go to with children. At the park you can cover routes on bike or horseback, go for a hike, or do some gliding or sunbath.
Wasserspielplatz Tegel is a park for children and adults that surround Lake Tegel and it comprises an area of over 5.000 square meters. In the playground area you shall find a swimming pool for children, swings, slides and different attractions, a football field and a cable car. On the pier you can rent pedal boats.
ATZE musical theater
The ATZE musical theater is Germany's largest theater for children with more than 80,000 people per year in Berlin alone. In the Great Hall Theatre has a capacity for 480 visitors and the the Studio Theatre stage for another 150 guests. Tours and guest performances by the musical theater ATZE is known far beyond the borders of Berlin.
