Sol - Opera
This is the district where the famous Puerta del Sol is and has been during the centuries of all the most important events in the history of Spain. Today it is one of the most popular and touristic areas, with its beautiful Royal Palace, also the center of the radial roads of Spain. It is a great location for apartments in Madrid- within walking distance of the heart of the capital.
Chueca
Having been a poor part of town, today Chueca experiences its rebirth, becoming the gay center of Madrid and the epicenter of a vibrant outdoor nightlife. Many shops and trendy bars have recently opened here.
La Latina
History and night life are united in La Latina. The "Madrid of Austria" covers various parts of the city centre. Together with Sol, La Latina is one of the oldest areas of the city. Memorable restaurants and bars are not hard to find.
Salamanca - Retiro
The Salamanca district is one of the few in Madrid with a well-defined urban structure- geometric and well-arranged. Elegant and very chic, it is the most stylish area of the capital. You have to see it for yourself, it is worth it.
Lavapiés
The Jewish neighborhood of Madrid, then became a popular area, now is the most multicultural heart of the city, with aromas and flavors that come from far and create a unique atmosphere. You can like it or not, just know what it offers.
Gran Vía and Callao
Large central area of Madrid, Gran Via is lined with shops, cinemas, theaters and famous buildings. From the Callao Square there is a dense network of pedestrian streets leading to the Puerta del Sol.
Malasaña and Conde Duque
Malasaña is a special place, called Maravillas (marvelous things) by its own inhabitants. Historically the center of one of the most famous cultural movements of Spain, Movida, it is now an increasingly interesting area for investors. Full of fashionable and trendy shops, this place have become very popular amongst youngsters and students. Conde Duende is the part that extends beyond the Via San Bernardo. Much like Malasaña, it is more quiet and residential, ideal for tapas and for those seeking accommodation in Madrid.
Chamartín
Chamartín is a district located in the north of the city that consists of the following neighborhoods: El Viso, Prosperidad, Ciudad Jardín, Hispanoamérica, Nueva España y Castilla. Today it is known for hosting the most important companies in Spain, a major business centre and one of the most expensive areas of the capital.
