Amsterdam is Parque del Buen Retiro in Madrid. It lies just behind the
Prado Museum, it´s the most popular attraction in
Madrid. Especially on Sunday people visit the park for walking, looking at the many street performers.
White stone figures come up from the ground on the boulevards filled with deciduous trees. In the park is also a large lake. Rowboats can be rented here. The park also has a rose garden. Throughout in the park are benches where hikers can get a break. In the middle of the park are two buildings known as the Palacio de Velázquez and Palacio de Cristal. Here are some exhibitions. The park has several entrances, which are located at Plaza de la Independencia, the Calle Alcalá, Calle O'Donnell and the Calle de Alfonso XII.
