Description

This 70m2 apartment is divided on 2 floors; kitchen and living on the first floor and on the second floor, accessed by an internal staircase, are 2 bedrooms with bathroom in between them. Both floors have windows that open wide onto the canal in the front and balconies at the back.  

The apartment includes the following amenities and services:

- Master bedroom with queen size bed (or 2 twins), television and a balcony
- 1 small bedroom facing the canal side with 2 single beds, one rolls under the other if not being used
- Bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet
- Fully equiped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, micro-wave, dishwasher, coffee maker and all the other necessary cooking utensils
- Living room with leather couch and chairs
- Flat screen television with DVD and CD players
- iPod/iPhone docking system.
- Washing machine and dryer
- Internet connection
- Hairdryer
- Fixed phone line available
- This is a non-smoking apartment.
- Weekly cleaning. If you stay more than 1 week, but less than 2 weeks, one cleaning is included in the middle of your stay.

Excluded from the price are:
- 5% Tourist Tax will be added to the balance due on arrival (find more information about this tax here: Tourist tax in Amsterdam)
- A fixed-line telephone is available in all apartments.  Please let us know if you would like it connected.
- €15 fee for connecting the phone line.

Cancellation Policy:
- 50% of deposit(*) will be refunded if cancellation is made 3 weeks or more before arrival date.
- No refund of deposit if cancellation is made within 3 weeks of arrival.
- Full payment of booking is due if cancelled within 72 hours of the beginning of your stay or no show.

(*) In case of credit card refunds, the initial credit card transaction charge on the deposit of 5% plus the refund transaction charge of 5% will be deducted from the refund to cover the credit card charges incurred by Habitat Apartments.

10.0 Habitat Apartments - 

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at apartment. We've stayed in many holiday rentals and George and I both agree your's is one of the best. Simply and tastefully decorated without excess clutter, well equipped, modern fittings, friendly, with original architecture and beautiful canal view to boot! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us.

10.0 Rosalynd - 

We can't really overpraise this excellent accommodation! Start with its location---on the beautiful Prince's Canal, and within easy walking distance of all the major museums, good shopping, great cafes and restaurants, and eight tram lines. Views from the front windows on both floors are among the most attractive in amsterdam; whereas the back windows look onto a quiet garden/courtyard (never a peep to disturb your sleep). The building's facade is handsomely old, but inside the apartment everything is state of the art: good bed; excellent shower (and tub); comfortable modern furniture; Wi-Fi, two TVs; radio; a very complete kitchen with all the necessary appliances, including a larger than normal fridge for a city apartment. The decor is also modern, with fine prints on the walls; living plants; and (in May at least) fresh-cut tulips to welcome you.

Cancellation

  • For cancellations within 21 days prior to the arrival day we charge the 80% of the total amount.
  • For cancellations within 3 days prior to the arrival day we charge the 100% of the total amount.

Cancellations must be notified to us by e-mail to info@habitatapartments.com and acknowledgement of receipt must be sent by Habitat Apartments.

Payment

Advance payment:
  • A 50.00% of total price is charged on your credit card for all reservations.
  • The balance is payable to our representative at check-in on the arrival day.
Payment on arrival day : Cash and credit card
  • 500 € bills not accepted.
  • Credit card payment is subject to a 4.00% fee.
  • We do accept Visa or Mastercard.
Deposit:
Final cleaning : Included in the price.

Arrival and exit day

Check-in : From 15:00
  • Early check-in is possible from 00:00 and there is an extra charge of 40 € (subject to availability).
  • For check-in from 21:00 there is an extra charge of 40 €.
Check-out : Before 10:30
  • In case you want to store the luggage in the apartment later than 10:30 you must call us the day before your exit day and we will let you know if it is possible.

Additional information

City tax : 5.0000% city tax will be added to the total price.
