Description

This is a very light apartment on the 3rd floor (no lift). The spacious living room has a wall of south-facing windows with a fabulous view overlooking the Singel Canal. The kitchen is semi-open to the living room with new, built-in Siemens appliances.

The apartment offers the following amenities and services:

- Bedroom with queen-size bed (can be separated in two beds) and wardrobe.
- Living room with large windows (television with cable, DVD player and Stereo/CD player)
- Fully equipped kitchen semi-opened to living area with large refrigerator/freezer, full-sized Siemens oven, dishwasher and all necesary cooking utensils.
- Bathroom (shower, bathtub, toilet, bidet and towel rack)
- Gas Fireplace in the living-room
- Hairdryer
- High speed Internet
- Separate washer/dryer
- Non smoking apartment
- no kids under the age of 10 (small babies accepted)
- Weekly cleaning. If you stay more than 1 week, but less than 2 weeks, one cleaning is included in the middle of your stay.

Excluded from the price are:
- 5% Tourist Tax will be added to the balance due on arrival (find more information about this tax here: Tourist tax in Amsterdam)
- A fixed-line telephone is available in all apartments.  Please let us know if you would like it connected.
- €15 fee for connecting the phone line.

Cancellation Policy:
- 50% of deposit(*) will be refunded if cancellation is made 3 weeks or more before arrival date.
- No refund of deposit if cancellation is made within 3 weeks of arrival.
- Full payment of booking is due if cancelled within 72 hours of the beginning of your stay or no show.

(*) In case of credit card refunds, the initial credit card transaction charge on the deposit of 5% plus the refund transaction charge of 5% will be deducted from the refund to cover the credit card charges incurred by Habitat Apartments.

10.0 Habitat Apartments - 

The apartment was delightful in all ways and it was far superior to many five-star hotels in terms of comfort, privacy and security. The view looking out onto the Singel was endlessly enjoyable, the apartment decor is just lovely, with a spacious layout, stylish decor, upscale kitchen, luxurious bath, contemporary amenities and a central location in one of the most interesting cities in the world. We have frequently have rented apartments when traveling and this one immediately became our favorite. It suited our every need!

9.3 Paris - 

We stayed at the Apartment on the Singel in January 2010. Amsterdam is wonderful in the Winter too. The apartment is cozy and clean. Everything you'd want and more in your home away from home, great kitchen and bathroom too. The gas fireplace made it very cozy in the evenings. The view of the Singel is through a bank of large windows, wonderful place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and watch the world go by. The apartment is nicely decorated without clutter. The Apartment is close to the Dam, Magna Plaza and the 9 Streets with an Albert Heim grocery store a convenient walk away. It is a walk-up so be prepared, but well worth your while once you are inside. A great base while visiting Amsterdam.

Conditions

Cancellation

  • For cancellations within 21 days prior to the arrival day we charge the 80% of the total amount.
  • For cancellations within 3 days prior to the arrival day we charge the 100% of the total amount.

Cancellations must be notified to us by e-mail to info@habitatapartments.com and acknowledgement of receipt must be sent by Habitat Apartments.

Payment

Advance payment:
  • A 50.00% of total price is charged on your credit card for all reservations.
  • The balance is payable to our representative at check-in on the arrival day.
Payment on arrival day : Cash and credit card
  • 500 € bills not accepted.
  • Credit card payment is subject to a 4.00% fee.
  • We do accept Visa or Mastercard.
Deposit:
Final cleaning : Included in the price.

Arrival and exit day

Check-in : From 15:00
  • Early check-in is possible from 00:00 and there is an extra charge of 40 € (subject to availability).
  • For check-in from 21:00 there is an extra charge of 40 €.
Check-out : Before 10:30
  • In case you want to store the luggage in the apartment later than 10:30 you must call us the day before your exit day and we will let you know if it is possible.

Additional information

City tax : 5.0000% city tax will be added to the total price.
