Barceloneta is an old area that used to be filled with fishermen and other similar marine-related trades but nowadays it is one of the most popular and most visited areas of the city. It has a beautiful beach which during the summer is always full of people enjoying themselves.

It is near some of Barcelona´s most famous clubs such as Pacha, Opium, and Shoko, and also has an abundance of restaurants that often serve delicious fresh seafood dishes.
