Marbella is a fascinating city and there are many things to see. Here is a list of some of Marbella's most popular sights.
The Castle of Gibralfaro is a fortress located in the city of Malaga, Spain. It was built in the fourteenth century to house troops and protect the Alcazaba, due to widespread use of artillery. The fortress was enlarged and converted into a castle by King Nasrid Yusuf I in 1340. In 1931 it was declared a historic monument.
Today you can visit the castle and from its tower you can take in magnificent views of the city of Malaga, even if the day is not sunny, you can see some of the Rif Mountains, Africa and the Strait of Gibraltar.
If you love castles it is imperative that you visit the Castle of Gibralfaro, especially for the great reward you will find at the top: the best view of Malaga. Some of the local buses can take you straight to the top of the castle, check schedules!
Do not miss the Alcazaba which is very close.
