Fantastic location and lots of eateries nearby. Also good access to the metro, just a 5 min walk. We were concerned about the noise from the outside, but the sound proofing is good. Takes a bit of time to get the remote looking system to work. A simple key would have been more convenient.

I and my friends had an amazing stay at this apartment! This was my 2nd time visit barcelona and stay in Habitat's apartment. First time stay in la rambla area, and this time in Born area. The location was perfect and the host was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Great location and staff at Habitat were a pleasure to deal with! Very responsive and even helped us store our bags for a few hours on our last day. Apartment showing a little wear (mainly beds need new mattresses) fridge noisy and couches a bit worn but fine for a short stay, especially given location and helpfulness of Habitat staff. - Habitat Apartments reply: Dear Gil,

The apartment was clean and had all the basic products hotels provide. All the rooms were in great condition. The apartment is in a good part of town about 20 minutes walking distance to all the main sites which was great for us since we preferred walking instead of the metro which was also nearby. The neighborhood had a chill hipster feel to it which was enjoyable. Our agent Lidia Balague provided us with good recommendations. Would definitely come back here next time i'm in town.

The apartment was overall very good, in an excellent location, very close to many of the main areas of interest, such as La Ramblas. We did not use many of the kitchen facilities but it seemed well equipped. The only slight issue was a plug missing from the kitchen sink so difffciult to wash up. Check in was excellent, we were delayed slightly by the airport bus however the Habitat rep was at the apartment waiting for us on our arrival. Ensure bathroom slightly tired decor but otherwise good.

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful location. Very enjoyable stay. 2 things to note:
The internet is very inconsistent and doesn't work in some of the rooms of the apartment.
Prior reviews weren't joking about hard beds...I prefer a hard mattress, but this was pretty extreme.

Appartement spacieux et très bien situé
Quelques points négatifs :
- problème avec l'eau chaude, 2 douches maximum sont possibles, ensuite c'est de l'eau froide
- dans 1 chambre le lit est de 140 X 190 (annoncé 160X200)
- impossible de faire fonctionner la télé : elle est déréglée

Great apartment in the El Born section of Barcelona. In a great location close to restaurants and shopping. We could walk everywhere. The apartment was very clean and surprisingly quiet at night. It is well insulated so when you closed the windows you could not hear street noise. I would definitely go their again. A great space for 2 couples or a family.
The only warning is that the mattresses are very hard. If you need a softer mattress, your sleep may be a little uncomfortable.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location. The only complaint was that there were no signs for the apartment. We stood outside the address from 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm . We tried number of times to get in touch with the representative but could not get through. My phone bill is really high for all the calls. Finally got through at 10.30 and was told he was running late. Was not a great start to the holiday. By the time we finished the paper work the restaurants near us had shut.

We had a wonderful stay in Barcelona. Our favorite part was the location, it was central to so many sights. There were great restaurants right near the apartment, metro station very close (even though we didn't actually end up using it because walking was so easy) and for the most part pretty quite. There was a marching band (literally) with drums on our first night but that was the only night during our week there. There are a couple things that would make the place just a bit better though.

Appartamento grande, pulito, unico inconveniente una delle due camere da letto ha la finestra che si affaccia sull'atrio delle scale. Impossibile arieggiare la camera.
Posizione dell'appartamento ottima, in zona pedonale con numerosi ristoranti. A pochi passi dal mercato di Santa Caterina.

Best location with the small square outside with good restaurants.
The apartment was large and well planned and the house was quiet.
We missed chairs to the kitchen table - there was only 4 and the apartment is for 6.
We also missed hangers in the hallway should be easy to fix.
A dishwasher rather than a washing machine would also be better.

Very nice apartment, clean and spacious, exactly as the photos show. Fantastic location within walking distance of many sightseeing points.
If you look for a very quiet apartment, you may have trouble sleeping in one of the bedrooms because the apartment overlooks a square with a restaurant. (but who wants to go to bed early in Barcelona, right ?) The other bedroom is very quiet.
We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.

The apartment is very well located, near the gothic quarter but in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The beds are quite firm though and the toilet leaked in the 2nd bathroom - it appears to have been leaking for some time. We had to turn the water on and off to fill the tank after use. There were problems with the acceptance of our cc through the Habitat online payment system for both the deposit and payment on arrival, which was frustrating.

The apartment location was excellent - right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. Great layout and air con was also excellent. Supermarket across the street too. Only gripes were minor - the ironing board was broken and their is no apartment number on the building outside so it was pretty hard to find at first. Plus if you are staying for more than a few days clean towels are hard to come by. Other than these minor things though we absolutely loved it. Perfect.

We likes the apartment and were it was situated. Born is a Nice part of the town.
But we had a sofabed that was broke but we didn\'t get it fixed during the stay.
We sent an email about the sofabed but nothing happend.
Othervise everything was perfekt with the apartment at Carrer Corders. Habitat comments: Thank you for your comments. The problem of the sofa bed was forwarded to the maintenance department, however we couldn´t fix it during your stay, please accept our apology. A great week. The location of the apartment was fantastic and that alone gets our vote. It was a great retreat after a days sight seeing. People have mentioned the noise of the streets below but it wasn\'t a problem. It\'s a pleasant people noise and not traffic. Quietish when windows closed.
The apartment was clean and had all the equipment we needed. However, it was a little tired. The bath was chipped and needs replacing, the sofa was uncomfortable and one bedroom has no outer window.

The aprmnt is in a great location,not far from the Cathedral and Sant Caterina Market.There are plenty of small artisan shops where you can buy all you need for self catering. The pizza shop across the road sells great home made lasagna. For two of us, the apartment was a good size but if anyone was using the second bedroom, there was little storage. The main bedroom window overlooked the communal landing area so we had to keep the blind down at all times which I dislked.Overall, a good place.

This was a mixed experience for us. The apartment is in a great location, with tons of things to do nearby, including the Picasso Museum 2 blocks away, but this unit is tired, and not what we thought we were renting.
The management was very responsive to any questions we had.
What we would like to see changed is not to use generic photos on the website. The photos are not the exact apartment being rented, and we did not know that. We would have rented a bigger, more modern unit.

Vert nice apartment . Excellent neighbourhood but a bit noisy late at night
due to the plaza in front with restaurants and bars .
The advantage is being walking distance to most of important sites .
I would recommend that apartment to anyone interested in .

Excellent apartment! Clean, roomy, small but wonderfully situated balcony and then location, location, location. The Placa de Sant Cugat is a local community with tourists passing through. El Born is terrific and close waterfront, across the street from Gothic area, and we walked to the Sagrada Famillia
Minor things: supply some dishwasher detergent, more than one dish towel, don\'t charge for an extra towel, which was not in my case. The bed was hard, which takes some getting used to.

Nice aircontioned apartment with all amenities. Quiet when all windows are closed. Within walking distance of Las Ramblas. Nice square just on the doorstep with several restaurants, gelateria, cafeteria offering pastries, pizza, cakes, soft drinks etc at very reasonable prices. Small balcony from where one can watch the locals engage in animated conversation, a few performers over the weekend (good stuff!!). Excellent market at the next block and a brilliant restaurant offering pinchos.

This apartment has a fantastic location and a high standard. I am very satisfied, and will definately book this again for my next stay in Barcelona Info that might be of interest:
*The beds have a quite hard mattresses.
*One of the bedrooms does not have a closet - so there is nowhere to hang your clothes,only a small dresser.
*if I were to mention any flaws - it would be the lack of storage possibilities7shelves in bathroom and hooks to hang clothes on.

Very nice apartment in area near the picasso museum. Their are many walkable restaurants and shops in the area. Closest metro is Jeume 1 which was helpful to get to barcelonnetta beach.

the apartment was everything we expected and more. Perfectly located for walkable access to the sites in the old city yet far enough away (100 meters) to not be too noisy. ATM, grocery shops and restaurants all within 30 meters.
Furnishings were newish and in excellent condition. Directions were spot on and habitat apartments staff (Ramon) met us exactly where and when he said he would.
Only drawback and I stress it is a minor one, is that you cannot drive or be dropped off at the apartment. It\'s a 100 meters or so to a street where taxis can pick you up.

We had a great stay at the Carders Apartment. The location was great for exploring the city with our little baby boy. The apartment was spacious, clean and secure. We had some minor niggles: the beds were pretty uncomfortable - very hard and some of the kitchen equipment was poor - the knives were blunt, there was only one baking tray and no oven gloves. Also, the block itself was quite noisy. We were disturbed during the night by noise from other residents which was not ideal with a little baby. - "Habitat Apartments thanks you for your review. We shall check the kitchen equipment/utensils to improve these, thank you very much for letting us know."

Spacious bright and clean app. located right in the heart of El Born/La Ribera. Perfect for exploring the old center on foot: Museo Picasso, Santa Maria del Mar, Santa Caterina and Boqueria markets, Las Ramblas, Port Veil, Ciutadella Park and more. The two bathrooms made it ideal for our group of two couples. The well equipped kitchen can be used for cooking, but why bother when you find a selection of the best Tapas and Pintxos bars within walking distance. We\'ll come back.

We were moved to Carders on arrival due to a broken boiler in our booked apartment. What an upgrade! Great sized apartment for us, small terrace overlooking a square with a brilliant atmosphere during the day/evening and very quiet in the early morning. Would highly recommend.

Great location, right where we wanted to be, but still very quiet! Some nice restaurants near by - including El Atril, below the apartment, which was excellent! One bathroom could do with a little attention - it was quite dark and also had a light bulb out - but we would still book this apartment again on a return to Barcelona.

An active location with many proximate amenities. Apartment build quality (e.g. windows) and orientation such that we had no problems with street noise.

Carders apartment was an excellent choice for our first visit to Barcelona. It is ideally located to see the must-see places which we did with a combination of walking and cycling (the friendly orange Budget rental bicycles is only around the corner). The apartment is very comfortable and a home away from home. It provides all that is needed including access to a friendly Plaza and numerous food outlets. Habitatapartments is a very professional and helpful organisation to deal with.

Overall, very pleased with the apartment and with habitat as we booked this at the last minute. Some problems experienced towards the end of our stay with the power (it kept tripping) and the cupboard has signs of dampness which should be checked. Very good appartment in a very good and attractive part of Barcelona. Good airco, good interior decorating, no noises from the outside.
Beds could be a bit better (less hard) and when taking a shower in the largest bathroom, a large part of the floor etc. gets wet.
When the airco was on en we were cooking, the electricity went down a couple of times.
But unless the mentioned problems we would book this appartment again with great pleasure!

Petit problème : quand on utilise plusieurs appareils électriques en même temps (four + plaques électriques + télé + lampes + chauffage), l\'électricité disjoncte.

We loved the apartment and the facilities. Security was great. Location was excellent -close to the Metro and markets. Las Ramblas was only a 10 minute walk. The only suggestion - although toilet paper was provided, there was nothing else. In all other apartments I have stayed, there was at least tea, coffee & milk, and salt & pepper sachets. Just a handful of the basics would have been good. Otherwise, we absolutely loved Barcelona and looked forward to returning 'home' after a day out.

An excellent very well located and clean apartment. Secure and well equipped but could do with a tea towel! The area is interesting and well away from the Ramblas which is a positive but not too far away for people who want to do the tourist trails. Efficient and very pleasant and helpful company. Brilliant location, we would definitely go back there again. The apartment is well equipped.
The master bedroom looks into the building and so is really quiet and it has a blackout blind - I defy anyone to not sleep in there! The other bedroom opens onto the square which has tables served until midnight during the week and 1am Friday and Saturday nights. After that it is quiet enough to sleep without any problem. I think some nights it would be fine even earlier than that. Barcelona wakes up much later than the UK - 9.30am felt like 6am in the UK and our body clocks shifted so we were very pleasantly surprised with the levels of noise.
We used the Airport Express Bus from Plaza Catalunya which was very convenient and we managed the walk with our wheely-bags.
State of repair is generally good.
Overall we were very pleased and had a great holiday there, thank you Habitat!

Great location in Born, close to most of what you want to see in BCN, and very close to all kinds of shops to buy groceries, boutiques, and good, not expensive restaurants, including "Atril" which is literally underneath the apt, and is excellent. Apt is on a nice plaza with lots of outdoor seating. Also, highly recommend the Car Deluxe transfer service which they recommend, very reliable to get to the airport. The apt is rather minimal in terms of decoration, but has what you need in terms of appliances, and nice balcony overlooking the pedestrian only street.

I rented this apt for a week for my family (two young daughters). I did a lot of checking and was confident in Habitat's reputation. It was as represented, no surprises. The location is just terrific and it is pretty quiet at night (heard some music and voices late on weekend but it is people having fun). The bathrooms are very nice. The building is quiet. We eate at El Atril, the restaurant below, it was quite pleasant. Felt safe in the area at night. Would highly recommend.

I just wanted to send a quick message to thank you for your service while I stayed in the Carders apartment for 26 nights during August/September. The apartment was fabulous, catered very well for our needs and I really appreciated that you had also installed wireless internet access. That was a nice surprise on arrival. I also wanted to comment on how helpful the staff were from checking in to cleaners, through to the phone service when our we couldn’t work the AC.
All in all, a great apartment provided by a great company. I will definitely book again.

The roomy apartment is in a great location. Fabulous narrow maze-like streets a bit off the heaviest tourist circuit. Very close to many excellent food markets and points of interest. Open the windows and hear the almost non-stop "action" at the four cafes in the plaza adjacent to the apartment. Close the windows, and the apartment is totally quiet. The beds were a bit hard though.

<p>We have used your apartments in Barcelona before and were very impressed, we are going to salou - costa dorada in august and were wondering if you had any similar apartments there to rent out or knew of any similar companies that would have apartments to a high standard as yours? <p>Just a quick note to say”thank you” (or muchas gracias) for all the extra help and consideration that you extended to me on our visit. Everyone in our party really enjoyed our stay at the flat, and we would recommend it to anyone who was planning to spend more than one day in Barcelona. </p>
