Berlin is a fascinating city and there are many things to see. Here is a list of some of Berlin's most popular sights.
The Berlin Opera House is located at Bismarckstraße 35 and is the biggest of the three opera houses in Berlin. It was founded in 1912, but it has been destroyed during WWII, so that a new construction has taken place and it has been reopened in 1961.
From the outside the building doesn't look very spectacular, but it convinces with its inner qualities. The wide auditorium offers the best visual and acoustic conditions from each of the 1865 seats. The artistic focus is on the great works of the 19th century, whereby value is also placed on the preservation of historical significant productions. Since 2011, the Berlin State ballet has its seat in the Berlin Opera House as well.
